Paris picked up the guitar in 1984 when he first opened a Beatles guitar book and played the family acoustic guitar. Within a year, He purchased his first electric guitar, a used Peavy T-26, and learned every Police song he could.

 

Paris has played with several bands, to including Blue Seoul Blues and Rock Band, Merge, Geezer, Stone Sunrise (on bass), Life Performance Session Work (guitar and bass), The Deep Easy, and Black Sevens.

His influences are Andy Summers (The Police), Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Albert King, Freddie King, Stacy Mitchheart, Ian Thornely (Big Wreck), and many others.
